Your First Visit
You don't have to be nervous when you first come and see us. The initial orthodontic examination with Dr. Wall is only to look and discuss the chief problems and complaints and to determine the best method of treatment. At this time Dr. Wall will be able to answer any general questions you may have.
If treatment is indicated, Dr. Wall may recommend that diagnostic orthodontic records (x-rays, models and photographs) be made to thoroughly evaluate your specific orthodontic needs and establish a plan for treatment. He will also be able to give you an estimated treatment fee and estimated treatment time. If records are necessary, we will be able to take the impressions for models and photographs that day. For your convenience, our Kaneohe office is equipped with an x-ray machine, and an x-ray lab is located on the 6th floor of our Ala Moana office. Depending on the type of x-ray, your dentist may have one current enough for our office to use to make a diagnosis. We will coordinate with their office to avoid unnecessary duplications. There are fees for these records and will not be taken without your consent.
We would then schedule a Consultation appointment, to discuss Dr. Wall's plan of treatment, financial arrangements and any other questions you may have.
If you have already called us to make an initial examination appointment, you may download the appropriate Patient History form, fill it out the best you can, and bring it with you to your appointment. Thank you!
